Important Information

Each Teddy & Mabel creation is meticulously handcrafted to order, ensuring every piece is as unique as the home it’s made for. We kindly ask that you review all measurements carefully before placing your order to guarantee a perfect fit. As with all handmade items, subtle variations in dimensions may occur — a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship and individuality.

We take great care to present our fabrics as accurately as possible; however, on-screen colours may not always capture their true depth and vibrancy. To ensure complete confidence in your choice, we will send a complimentary fabric swatch to your delivery address once your order is placed. This will arrive via tracked post, and you’ll have 72 hours from receipt to confirm or cancel your order. After this time, your bespoke piece will move into production and cancellations can no longer be accepted.

The placement of each fabric design may vary slightly, allowing us to maintain competitive pricing while thoughtfully positioning every pattern for the most elegant and visually balanced result.

As each piece is made to order, please allow approximately 3–4 weeks for dispatch, depending on material availability. We promise it will be worth the wait.

FAQs

Do you have a physical shop?

Unfortunately, no. I have a workshop at home but customers are welcome to come and view items by appointment.

 

Can products be made in any of the fabrics shown on the website (even if not listed)?

Yes. we are happy to make up products in any of the fabrics on our website even in the permutation isn’t listed. If you can’t see what you want, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

 

Can you use a fabric I already have on upholstery?

No, sorry. we can only use fabrics we have purchased that we know comply with the relevant fire regulations. We can however, work together to identify a compliant fabric is there is something specific you have in mind.

 

Do you re-upholster customer pieces?

Unfortunately, no. All our items are made from frame up to ensure they comply with UK Fire Regulations.

 

Do you only sell / post to Great Britain?

Yes, Despite complying with all UK safety regulations, following the introduction of GPSR we are currently unable to post products to Northern Ireland and the EU. At the moment, we only ship to the GB mainland. This will be under review going forward.
